This third cottage is a spectacular new rental built in May, 2003. The cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a beautiful arrangement of stone for the propane heater, a car port and an expansive deck overlooking the bay.
If privacy is what you envision on your Nova Scotia vacation, then this cottage is for you. A private driveway (bordered by numerous soft and hardwood trees)leads to this large cottage on St. Mary's Bay.
All four Bayside Cottages are just off Fort Point Road at Weymouth North, Nova Scotia. The best route to take is from Exit 27, off Highway 101 at Weymouth. From Yarmouth, turn left at the exit (not right, toward Weymouth); this will place you right on Fort Point Road (Bayside Farm is about 3 miles from the exit); from Digby or Halifax, turn right at the exit onto Fort Point Road.
This cottage, like all Bayside Cottages is fully equipped. Everything is provided from cooking utensils and pots and pans to bedding and linens. A barbecue and lawn furniture are provided for entertaining family and friends and there are plenty of good books and magazines available. A propane heater is also provided for those cool late summer evenings. Each cottage includes a washer and dryer, TV, VCR, telephone, linens, indoor heating (if necessary) and an outdoor grill.
