This cottage rental has three bedrooms, a large deck, a separate dining and living room and a fully equipped kitchen with full-size stove, fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
New Edinburgh is a small fishing community near Weymouth, Nova Scotia. The cottage sits on seven acres of land (including 1200 feet of oceanfrontage) high on a cliff on St. Mary's Bay. The view of the shoreline is spectacular (any time of the year), but the location is not recommended for guests with small children.
Follow Highway 101 from Halifax through the beautiful Annapolis Valley. Take Exit 28 at St. Bernard (approximately 2 1/2 hours drive from Halifax). Turn right when exiting and take the next right to New Edinburgh (about 300 meters from exit). The cottage is about 3 miles on the left down the 'New Edinburgh Road'.
This cottage, like all Bayside Cottages comes fully equipped. Everything is provided from cooking utensils and pots and pans to bedding and linens. A barbecue and lawn furniture are provided for entertaining family and friends and there are plenty of good books and magazines available. A propane heater is also provided for those cool late summer evenings. Each cottage includes a washer and dryer, TV, VCR, telephone, linens, indoor heating (if necessary) and an outdoor grill.
